My glaring light,
Oh, where'd go?
I'm walking this path alone -
Where the raindrops
Are independence held tight

Or are they the tears
Splashing the ground,
Deceiving my thoughts
To see sunshowers falling,
Stealing my independence

Is this even myself,
Or the missed lesson of life -
You've left me to me,
And so here I be - alone
To be me and my independence

Goodbye my light, hello dark
If this is the beginning,
If it mine - I accept
For this is the world of truth,
Expelled from this independent
The first stanza was a burst of inspiration that began as lyrics to a song I couldn't really find th notes/rhythm for... So, I wrote the rest of it.

So this was another piece I found written in the notepad of my phone. I think it was written in May, because I'm pretty sure I was still in school.

We all want independence but then we realize we always depend on others somehow...
